The Western Ohio Bicycle Adventure (WOBA)  (which replaces GOBA this year) will be held 19-26 June in several of District 3’s counties. Actual dates of bike rides and location are listed below:

Saturday June 19th – Sunday June 20th: Sidney, Shelby County (District 3)

Monday June 21st – Tuesday June 22nd: Wapakoneta, Auglaize County (District 2)

Wednesday June 23rd : Versailles, Darke County (District 3)

Thursday June 24th – Saturday June 26th: Troy, Miami County (District 3).

Each day will consist of riders biking a 40 or 50 mile course, returning to their start point.  Movement between the bike camps will be by vehicle.

The 2021 WOBA Frequency Card is posted on line.

Per the ride coordinators amateur radio support are not expected to be needed to support the riders when they are out on the various courses.  They do ask that someone in each county monitor the designated frequency of the day when they are in your area.  They do not expect to hold formal nets unless there is an emergency.  Most traffic will be between members of the WOBA support staff.

Kettering has announced that it will be holding it’s Holiday at Home event this year, which traditionally includes a parade on Labor Day that requires extensive amateur radio support.

The Miamisburg Holiday Parade will be held in the late afternoon of Saturday, 24 Dec. 2021 Actual time To Be Determined.
